Terms & Conditions

All packs contain a voucher with a unique reference, which we’ll check against our records when you call to book your trial lesson. The same applies to gift vouchers. You’ll need to bring your voucher with you on the day of your trial lesson. So long as buy directly from us or one of our authorised gift card resellers all vouchers will be genuine and we will honour them as such.

We’re sorry but we can’t accept any responsibility for any loss you may incur as a result of voucher theft or identity fraud. If you lose your voucher, provided you appear in our records and can show us a valid receipt we can arrange a replacement for you.

    Refunds and Cancellation Policy

We’re happy to make refunds on unbooked vouchers within 14 days of purchase. The refund will be made to the person who purchased the trial lesson, and if originally purchased by credit or debit card, be credited to the same card.

We are unable to offer refunds on gift vouchers purchased from authorised retailers.

We are happy to reschedule booked trial lessons provided you can give us a minimum of 3 days notice, unless of course we have to cancel the trial lesson for reasons beyond our control (such as adverse weather), in which case we will do our best to offer you alternative which is most convenient for you. We regret that we are unable to compensate you for any costs which you may incur as a result of a cancelled trial lesson.

    Validity

All vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of issue, which is printed on the voucher itself. Gift cards expire in January in the second calendar year after the year of issue which is printed on the card itself.

    Trial Lesson Restrictions

We have very few restrictions on who can take part in our trial lessons; however please note that for all trial lessons certain health restrictions apply. Clients are required to notify us if they have any underlying health conditions such as heart complaints, serious allergies or diabetes for example which could compromise their safety. We may require a letter from your doctor before we can allow you to participate.

Flying trial lessons are also subject to maximum weight restrictions to ensure the safety of the aircraft and its passengers. There may be limitations on how many people can participate in the trial lesson.

    Trial Lesson Duration

Trial lesson lengths are not exact, but we endeavour to ensure that you receive the quoted time as a minimum unless unforeseen events mean we have to cut the lesson short.

Please note we cannot offer full or part refunds for trial lessons which have to be cut short for reasons beyond our control.

    The Weather

The Great British weather often confounds activities, and even when it seems to be a bright sunny day, we can’t always guarantee that conditions will be good enough. However because of this we will call you three days ahead of your trial lesson to give you an update on whether we’re reasonably confident things can go ahead and we’ll make a final decision on the day. Rest assured however we will give you enough notice so that you don’t have to undertake any unnecessary travel.

    Availability

All of our trial lessons are offered subject to availability, when you ring to book your trial lesson we will offer you a series of dates and invite you to pick one that is most convenient. All of our trial lessons operate according to a time slot which will be given to you at the time of booking.

    Disabled Access

We always try to accommodate disabled participants wherever possible, however certain trial lessons can present difficulties particularly with regards to flying activities and access into the aircraft. However please give us a call to discuss any disability which may be relevant to the trial lesson and we’ll do our best to find a solution and meet your needs, as well as give you advice about disabled access at our locations.

    Complaints

We welcome all feedback, be it good or bad. If you have a problem or complaint on the day, please bring it to our attention and we’ll do our best to make it right and ensure that we do things better in the future.

    Other Terms and Conditions

All of our prices are correct at the time of publication and include VAT at the rate applicable at the time of publication. We reserve the right to make changes to prices without notice; however once you have purchased a voucher the price you have paid remains valid regardless of when you actually undertake the trial lesson (provided it is within the valid period).

Our liability for any claim of breach of obligation regarding any voucher or trial lesson shall not exceed the price of that trial lesson. This excludes claims arising from personal injury or death due to the negligence of Cunning Plan Developments Ltd or anyone for whom we are responsible.

The text, graphics and images used in all of our promotional literature are protected by copyright and must not be copied in whole or in part without express permission.

All the above terms and conditions apply as a condition of using any voucher, whether or not the voucher holder is the original purchaser. We reserve the right to change these terms from time to time without reference to customers.

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, and are governed by and in accordance with English law. The purchaser and Cunning Plan Developments Ltd agree that any problems fall under the jurisdiction of the English courts.
